The independence day concert of City of Porvoo

The City of Porvoo celebrates Finland’s Independence Day with a traditional concert at Taidetehdas on Saturday, December 6th at 2 PM.

The approximately one-hour concert will feature several talented local musicians. The orchestra for the event is the brilliant Porvoo Big Band, and the soloist is the wonderful musician, singer, and songwriter Mirella Pendolin. Also performing is Kuutti Kylätasku, one of the gifted trumpet players from the Porvoo Music Institute.

The event will open with a speech by the Chair of the City Board, Mikaela Nylander, and will be hosted by Jenny Törnroos.

Limited ammount of free tickets will be available through the online store starting on November 11th at 9 AM, with a maximum of 2 tickets per person. The link to the online store will be added here in the beginning of november.
