CHARITY GOLF TUE 27.05.25 AT PORVOO GOLF – PROCEEDS TO SUPPORT MIELI RF’S ACTIVITIES

INVITATION TO CHARITY GOLF EVENT TUE 27.05.25

Porvoo Västra Rotary Club wants to support MIELI rf’s activities. The fundamental task of MIELI Mental Health Finland is to promote mental health and prevent problems. The association strengthens the well-being of everyone living in Finland and supports those in a vulnerable life situation.

We invite you to participate in the charity golf event, where we will raise funds for training carried out in cooperation with Mieli rf. In this project of Rotary District 1420 and Mieli rf, parents are trained to understand and act when a young person is not feeling well.

The training sessions are held under the guidance of a professional from Mieli rf in Porvoo in August-September 2025. They provide skills to meet young people and identify appropriate ways to express emotions, care, and concern in one’s own family. The training sessions are held in Finnish and Swedish.

Location: Porvoo Golf, Klubitie 46, 06200 PORVOO

Time: Tuesday 27.05.25, games from 13:00, meal after the games

Game format: Stableford

Participation fee: Golf and meal 90 euros (golf cart rental 35€)

Participation fees are paid to the Porvoo Golf restaurant. The proceeds after covering the costs of golf and meals are fully used to implement the event described above. Of the participation fee for those with playing rights at Porvoo Golf, 55€ goes to charity, from other players 35€.
