Tapio Liinoja and Olli Ahvenlahti on Joint Tour “Tapsa and Olli – 145 Years” in Autumn 2025
This tour blends humor, more serious themes, music, stories, and poetry – lighthearted and profound moments alternate on stage, much like in the long careers of both artists.
The concerts will feature songs from previous successful tours such as ”Mainio Juha Vainio”, ”Rautavaara 100”, and ”Juntti ja stadin kundi”, as well as new pieces selected specifically for this tour.
“We’re embarking on a musical journey through Estonia, Sweden, Italy, France, and Ireland, all the way to the other side of the Atlantic,” say Tapsa and Olli.
“It’s always a great joy to meet the audience face to face and share touching musical stories,” the celebratory duo adds.
The performance also includes a story titled “Tie vie” (“The Road Leads”), written by Tapio and accompanied by Olli on piano.
Tapio Liinoja is known for numerous roles in television and film, as well as from the group Lapinlahden Linnut, which uniquely combined music and theatre. Tapsa has released three solo albums and two spoken word albums together with Esa Pulliainen. He has long worked as a freelancer, performing as an actor at KOM-teatteri and the city theatres of Vaasa and Espoo, among others.
Olli Ahvenlahti is a versatile musician, known for his collaboration with Vesa-Matti Loiri, for numerous televised music programs, Eurovision performances, and a long career in jazz and popular music. Over the years, he also became familiar with the world of theatre as the conductor at Komediateatteri Arena.
