The Porvoo bus traffic offers a functional and inexpensive way to get around Porvoo and the surrounding areas, whether you are travelling on the city bus routes, the demand responsive transport Kyläkyyti or the archipelago traffic.
Porvoo’s own bus traffic is complemented by ticket cooperations, regional traffic organised by the ELY Centre, and connections to Helsinki and nearby towns offered by various companies.
The survey concerns the city’s internal public transport –Porvoo bus local traffic, the archipelago routes, and the Village Ride service.
The survey is open to everyone who moves around in Porvoo, including those who are not currently using public transport. Completing the survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes.
The survey is open from 19 January to 1 February 2026.

The Porvoo Lights Festival will take place on Friday 6 February and Saturday 7 February. Porvoo Bus routes 1, 1V, 1E, 2, 2H, 2A, 3, 5 and S1–S4 will be free of charge from morning to evening on both days.
Note! Pupils entitled to school transport must still stamp their school journeys during the free travel period.
Note! Porvoo bus is the city’s local bus service. Various companies offer connections to Helsinki and nearby towns, and these routes, timetables and tickets can be found on the companies’ own websites.
