Porvoo bus timetable

The Aleksanterinkatu Bridge will be closed during the summer due to improvement works. The closure will cause changes to local bus routes in Porvoo. At the same time, public transport will switch to schedules in line with the school summer holidays.

The summer timetables and updated route maps for local transport will be valid until August 9.

During the summer, Porvoo bus local routes 1, 2, 3 and 5 will operate in both directions via the Market Square and will cross the river via the Mannerheiminkatu Bridge instead of the Aleksanterinkatu Bridge.

• Line 1E do not operate during summer, 1 June to 9 August.
• Line 1E operates between Tolkkinen and Emäsalo using a small vehicle (Kyläkyyti minibus).
• Transfers between Line 1 and Line 1E take place at the Tolkis endstation.
• Line 1E operates between Verkviksudden on Emäsalo and the Eklöfska skolan stop (drop-off point below Eklöfska skolan).
• Line 1 runs the route: Tolkkinen – City Centre (Tori) – Hospital.
• The Line 1E timetable is available as a separate table in the printed timetable booklet.

• 2H do not operate during summer, 1 June to 9 August.
• From 10 August, Line 2H will be operated with a large bus during the winter season.
• Line 2H timetable is included in the Line 2 schedule, marked with the letter H. For more information, see the winter timetable for Local transport.

• Porvoo Bus line 2H: Route: Hinthaara – Tyysteri – Ölstens – Eestinmäki – City Centre (Tori). 2H do not operate during summer 1 June to 9 August.
• Onnibus Line OB78: Route: Kulloo – Eestinmäki – Tolkkistentie – Porvoo City Centre (Tori)
• Line 999: Route: Treksilä – Eestinmäki – Katajamäki – Näsi – Porvoo City Centre (Tori)

Archipelago traffic will be on summer break from 1 June to 9 August. During the summer, the archipelago and villages will be served by Kyläkyyti, a local transport service. Read more:

The archipelago bus services will operate on a temporary route when approaching the city centre, as part of Rauhankatu, next to Borgå Gymnasium, is being used as a construction site area.

The archipelago routes will travel to the city centre via Pellingintie – Laivurinkatu – Piispankatu – Aleksanterinkatu – Rauhankatu – Market Square.

The Ruusupuisto P bus stop has been temporarily relocated to Piispankatu, on the opposite side of Ruusupuisto.

The bus line 999 ordered by Traficom runs Porvoo – Söderkulla – Tikkurila. Porvoo bus season and serial tickets (Matkat app) are valid on this line within Porvoo region. Matkahuolto’s nationwide serial tickets purchased through the Trips and Tickets application can be used, and payments on the bus can be made in cash or by bank card.
