Konstikas Operation and Fees
Operation
Konstikas includes afternoon snack, open workshops, and weekly Art School or Kuvismuskari lesson following the curriculum.
- At the Art School, children explore various visual art techniques, tools, and art history.
- Kuvismuskari (Arts n´ music School) combines visual arts and music education.
The Aim of Konstikas
- To ensure children have a safe afternoon
- To offer children experiences of success
- To provide opportunities for social interaction
- To offer refreshing and stimulating activities
- To allow time for rest
We play, move around, spend time outdoors, go on small trips, make art, read, rest, do homework, and have a snack. Children’s wishes are also considered when possible.
The Best Part Is Being Together
Students generally enjoy being at Konstikas. The best parts are nice friends, kind instructors, and the games, play, and art workshops. The worst part is when someone disturbs others. Every student has the right to a peaceful environment, and this is taken seriously at Konstikas.
A student who consistently disturbs or behaves inappropriately may be dismissed from Konstikas.
Opening Hours
Konstikas operates on all school days from 12:00 to 17:00 (not on Saturdays).
Attendance and pick-up times are based on an agreement between the family and Konstikas. Konstikas instructors supervise pick-ups.
Winter, summer, and autumn holiday activities are not part of Konstikas’ regular program. They are organized as separate holiday sessions, and information will be provided by the Art School when available.
Holidays
Konstikas follows the local comprehensive school holiday calendar.
