Computers
The library’s patron computers are equipped with the most common office programs. Computers can also be used during self-service hours when library staff are not present.
You can use Finnish, Swedish or English as the computer’s language.
WLAN – wireless network
The main library and the libraries in Gammelbacka, Kevätkumpu and Kerkkoo have a wireless network (PRV_Vierailija). Ask for login instructions from the library staff.
Scanning, printing and copying
In the main library and in the libraries in Gammelbacka and Kevätkumpu, you can scan, print and copy black and white and colour documents. Scanning documents is free, while printouts and copies cost €0.35 per page. Scanning directly to email is not possible. The file must first be stored on a flash drive or other storage location.
You can scan, print and copy A4 and A3 pages.
Digitization and editing in the main library
You can digitize and edit analogue material, such as old VHS tapes, cassette tapes and slides, in the main library. You can also edit digital images, audio and moving image with editing software at the digitization workstation.
