Porvoo Skatehall

The skatehall is located in the Tarmola industrial area, Pajatie 6. The hall offers sessions for skateboarders, scooter riders, and BMX bikers. On weekends, there are also calmer sessions for families and a dedicated session for girls.

The hall includes social facilities, an equipment rental point, and a repair corner. At the Fellasta skate shop, you’ll find everything you need – from new boards and gear to clothing. During opening hours, there is always a volunteer supervising the hall. Please ask the supervisor if you have any questions.

The hall’s height is about five meters, and the total area is 610 m², divided into two spaces. The larger space features a street park-style area with curved elements and various skateable shapes. The smaller space has a pool. Please remember to familiarize yourself with the hall’s rules and etiquette.

The City of Porvoo rents the skatehall, and the ramps have been built by the city. Daily operations are managed by the local association Asfaltti-ihottuma ry.

Opening Hours

The age limit for skate and scooter sessions is 10 years. Under 10s must be accompanied by an adult.
On weekends, families can visit the hall with children for a calmer atmosphere.

Prices

Tickets can be purchased at the skatehall during opening hours.

  • Single entry: 4€
  • 10-session card: 35€
  • Supporting members (15+): 30€
  • Season pass: 130€ (includes all sessions in autumn and spring, subject to age limits, plus supporting membership).

Rules

General rules:

  • Respect others: bullying, insults, discrimination, and racism are strictly prohibited!
  • Be aware of other riders: look around and wait your turn
  • Food and drinks in the lounge only: no bottles in the park, and dispose of trash properly
  • Helmets mandatory for under 12s; protective gear recommended for all The skatehall is substance-free!
  • Report any broken structures to the hall supervisor The skatehall is for riders only, not a playground for small children
  • Riding is at your own risk
  • No metal pegs on BMX bikes

Pool rules:

  • Respect others: bullying, insults, discrimination, and racism are strictly prohibited!
  • Do not wax coping – staff will take care of it
  • Wait your turn: one rider at a time in the pool
  • Do not throw scooters: it’s annoying, but don’t damage the place
  • No metal pegs on BMX bikes
  • The skatehall is substance-free!

  • The skatehall is for riders only, not a playground for small children
  • Riding is at your own risk

Private Sessions

Private sessions are also possible. Renting the hall for private use costs €40/hour. Please note that the skatehall is a substance-free space! For rental inquiries, contact the hall directly at porvoonskeittihalli@gmail.com.
The renter is responsible for the space during private sessions.

Other Activities

Asfaltti-ihottuma ry and the city’s youth services collaborate in various ways, and in the future, the skatehall will host events, theme nights, and workshops. Current information about upcoming events can be found on the skatehall’s Instagram and the city’s event calendar.
