Emilia Tanner

The works in the exhibition reflect on the spectrum between light and darkness and what exists in between. I have observed light that changes and fades away, only to return at times, and followed it with my gaze. The world around me changes so subtly that I do not always notice it. I have followed the path of light around me, observing its movement, its rapid, slowing, and at times barely perceptible transformations. I have looked at the traces left behind by light, traces that evoke rays of light fallen to the ground and the passage of time.

The body of work includes programmed light installations built into the exhibition space, as well as etched and engraved glass works that reflect light.
