Baddräkten och havet

The exhibition Baddräkten och havet presents paintings and textile works by visual artist Eva Lamppu. Drawing inspiration from the sea, Lamppu depicts bathers on real and imagined shores.

Lamppu works in her studio in Espoo, but also directly in the landscape to capture the interplay of light, movement and atmosphere. In her paintings she uses thin layers of tempera and watercolour. The aim is a spontaneous and airy expression.
