Youth Winter Holiday 2026
On this page we provide information about the winter holiday activities for schoolchildren, youth and families organised by Youth Services.
This year again, a wide range of activities is on offer, from the youngest family members to lower secondary school–aged children and older young people.
Registration for activities opens on Tuesday 27 January at 9.00 am.
You can find the registration links in the description of each activity or below. Registrations are binding.
Free Winter Holiday Activities
Opening hours of youth centres 16–22 February 2026
The youth centres Zentra, Kertsi and Nuokka, as well as Mopopaja, are open during the winter holiday. During the open and free afternoon activities for schoolchildren, you can play digital or traditional games, do crafts, meet friends and hang out. You can also suggest ideas for the content of the activities to the instructors on site and plan the afternoon programmes together.

Nuokka Youth Centre, Kevätkumpu
You can come to the youth centre to spend your free time playing various games, billiards, or ping pong, or just to hang out.

Welcome to a family activity day! During the day, there will be a wide range of fun activities for all ages. In the sports hall you can be active and try different physical activities, and there will also be various games to play, such as billiards and table tennis. For those looking for calmer activities, there is a wide selection of board games.
A kiosk run by young people will also be open during the day, offering inexpensive snacks and drinks. The activity day offers a pleasant opportunity to spend time together, meet others and enjoy a relaxed and communal atmosphere. Warmly welcome to join with the whole family!
