Art exhibitions and atmosphere in a valuable 18th century building in the middle of Old Porvoo.
Gallery Vanha Kappalaisentalo is located in the Old Town Hall Square in Old Porvoo. Enter through the gate between Café Fanny and Holm House and turn to the left in the courtyard. When the weather is nice, you can sit in the peaceful courtyard and enjoy the atmosphere of Old Porvoo. Entry to the exhibitions is free.

Tuesday – Sunday 10 am – 4 pm. Closed on Mondays.
Closed 1.5., 9.5., 21.-22.6., 6.12., 24.-26.12.2024.
The gallery is closed between exhibitions.
Accessibility
The gallery is located in an old 18th century building, which is unfortunately not accessible. The entrance to the exhibition is at the top of a cobble stone incline. We provide ramps for the entrance and indoor tresholds. The staff will assist you at the entrance and install the ramps, if needed.
Prams (up to two at time) can be brought into the lobby, if necessary. The staff will assist you in opening narrow doorways.
The exhibitions have Finnish and Swedish captions. In the summer season, English captions are also provided.
