Hinthaaran koulu

Hinthaaran koulu is a primary school located about ten kilometers from the center of Porvoo, in the village of Hinthaara. Currently, 89 students study at the school.

Hinthaaran koulu is part of the Hinthaara education center together with Hinhår skola. Our working community includes five teachers, a principal, a special education teacher, and two teaching assistants. Our staff functions as a learning community, with an approach that is inquiry-based, experimental, and built on flexible collaboration and shared expertise. At our school, students learn basic skills together, creatively and with joy. Our goal is to help every student discover the joy of learning and working.

At Hinthaaran koulu, hobby activities are organized in accordance with the Porvoo model för extracurricular activities.
