Strömborgska skolan

Strömborgska skolan is a comprehensive school for grades 1–9 and also includes a preschool. The school also runs an after-school club for grades 1–2. In recent school years, we have had around 460 students in the school and 35 children in the preschool.

In January 2020, we moved into a newly built building designed for our activities. We have aimed to create “a small school within a large one.” Different grade levels have separate entrances and learning environments, while specialist classrooms for arts and practical subjects, as well as the dining hall, are shared. Our facilities—with good acoustics, proper lighting, and modern equipment—enable diverse pedagogical approaches for students with different needs. Traditional classrooms, flexible spaces, and small-group rooms are used by students of all ages.

We work towards a safe school where respect is the guiding principle of our activities, respect for each other and respect for the environment. We place the student at the center and work to ensure that every student develops into a responsible adult.

Strömborgska skolan participates in the ProKoulu -project.
