From the Christmas opening event to New Year’s Eve, the city offers you a ride on the Porvoo bus.
Travel free of charge on the Porvoo bus from 29 November to 31 December
The campaign applies to Porvoo bus lines 1, 2, 3 and 5 (including 1V, 1E, 2H and 2A) as well as all archipelago lines S1–S4.
Please note that during the Porvoo bus’s free travel period, the validity of serial- and season tickets will not be extended, even if the ticket is purchased during this period or shortly before.
Pupils entitled to school transport must continue to register their school journeys as usual during December. Not a school journey? Just hop on board!
Which bus lines are not included in the campaign?
The campaign does not apply for
- The village shuttle (Kyläkyyti)
- Regional bus lines to northern parts of Porvoo and neighbouring municipalities, which are commissioned by the ELY Centre
- Onnibus, HSL, or other operators’ routes within the Porvoo City area can be accessed with a Porvoo bus season and serial ticket. The normal fare must be paid on these routes in December.
