Integration training

Integration training helps newcomers learn the Finnish language, become familiar with Finnish society, and develop skills needed in working life. We offer integration training to clients within the Porvoo employment area, which includes the municipalities of Askola, Lapinjärvi, Loviisa, Myrskylä, Porvoo, and Pukkila.

Supporting Integration in Porvoo

Integration training helps newcomers learn the Finnish language, become familiar with Finnish society, and develop other skills needed in working life. The duration and content of the training vary according to the participants’ needs and starting level. Studies are full-time and include classroom instruction as well as independent and guided assignments.

The training is intended for unemployed jobseekers whose first language is not Finnish, whose integration plan includes participation in the program. Participants are referred to the training through services within the Porvoo employment area. The training is organized by the Porvoo Adult Education Centre KoMbi.

Have You Been Assigned an Integration Plan That Includes Integration Training?

If your integration plan includes participation in integration training, you have most likely already been placed in the course queue. You can also ask your personal employment services advisor (career coach) to refer you to integration training.

Please note that we are not able to influence how long it takes to get a place in the integration training.
